Company History

Preferred Commercial Floor Covering opened in 1996, and was incorporated in 2000. Our president, Bob Bitz decided to take his expertise and branch out on his own. He has taken the company from his garage to being the multi-million dollar corporation that it is today.

In that time we have changed the location of our headquarters four times, simply because we keep running out of space for everyone. Since our fleet of work trucks and our warehouse is constantly expanding, we are sure it will not stop there.

We have a very wide coverage area and have provided our services all over the United States. However since we are located in North Georgia, we find that most of our work is concentrated in the Southeast.
